The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO), a leading provider of aviation ground services in Nigeria, has announced the signing of new contracts with five airlines, including both local and international carriers.

In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by its Assistant General Manager, Corporate Communications, Tayo Ajakaye, NAHCO disclosed that it has secured a five-year contract with Royal Air Maroc for cargo freighter and warehousing services in Lagos and Abuja.

This agreement, set to run until November 2029, complements the airline’s existing full-service handling contract with NAHCO covering all other operations across Nigeria.

Kenya Airways has also renewed its partnership with NAHCO for another five years. The agreement covers both passenger and cargo operations nationwide, including any new routes the airline may introduce during the term.

In addition, Dornier Aviation has signed a three-year contract with NAHCO for passenger handling services at key airports including Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Osubi.

A new domestic airline, Enugu Air, has selected NAHCO to manage its ground operations nationwide under a five-year agreement that includes full passenger handling services at all Nigerian airports.

Cronos Airline also renewed its contract with NAHCO for another three years. The renewed deal covers passenger services in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

NAHCO stated that both the new and renewed contracts are a testament to the continued confidence in its services, reflecting a growing preference among regional, domestic, and international airlines for the company’s integrated aviation solutions.

Earlier this year, NAHCO announced similar agreements with regional carriers Afrijet and Air Sierra Leone, further strengthening its presence in West Africa’s aviation sector.

Commenting on the latest developments, NAHCO’s Group Executive Director of Commercial and Business Development, Saheed Lasisi, expressed satisfaction, saying, “This is truly very good for NAHCO and the airlines we’ve signed with.

When a client’s aircraft is on the ground, there’s only one company they can trust to handle operations as though it were their own — NAHCO.”

Group Managing Director, Mr. Olumuyiwa Olumekun, described the new deals as “a positive indicator for the company’s future growth,” reaffirming NAHCO’s commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
