Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has advised ex-President Goodluck Jonathan against contesting the 2027 presidential election, warning that the political terrain has changed.

Speaking on Sunday Politics on Channels Television, Sani said the PDP that brought Jonathan to power in 2011 has weakened and fragmented, with some factions openly endorsing President Bola Tinubu.

He dismissed the emerging opposition coalition floated by the African Democratic Congress, saying it lacked ideological depth and was no different from Tinubu’s political philosophy.

“If their only cause is to remove Tinubu without offering an alternative, then they have no agenda,” Sani said.
