ABUJA – Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, on Tuesday returned to plenary following the expiration of her six-month suspension.

Akpoti-Uduaghan arrived at the Senate chamber while Senate President Godswill Akpabio was delivering his welcome address.

On her arrival, she took her seat and exchanged pleasantries with some colleagues, including Senators Abdul Ningi (PDP–Bauchi), Ali Ndume (APC–Borno), and Aminu Tambuwal (PDP–Sokoto).

She was suspended in March over alleged misconduct during her protest against the Senate leadership’s decision to reassign her seat.

Speaking with newsmen after the session, Akpoti-Uduaghan said she owed no apology to the Senate leadership for her actions.
