ABUJA: The Northern Nigeria Youth Leaders’ Forum (NNYLF) has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term, pledging to mobilise funds to support his re-election bid in 2027.
At an event in Abuja on Monday, the forum said it would collaborate with development partners and stakeholders to scale youth-driven programmes across Northern Nigeria.
A communiqué jointly signed by the forum’s National Leader, Gamji Murtala, and Director of Operations, Dr Agbana John, said the engagement aimed at strengthening youth participation in governance under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The forum described youth-led platforms as vital for political education, grassroots mobilisation, peace-building and national integration, noting growing demand for structured youth inclusion in governance and policy implementation.
Speaking with journalists, NNYLF National Leader, Garba, disclosed that the group had already raised N200 million to purchase President Tinubu’s expression of interest and nomination forms when available.
“With the support of our Board of Trustees and patrons, we have decided to support President Tinubu with N200 million because we believe in the unity of Nigeria,” he said.
