‎Heartland FC has failed to respond to former head coach Charles Uzor after the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Players’ Status and Arbitration Committee ordered the club to pay him ₦6.4 million for unlawful termination of contract.

‎Uzor said “the club has not contacted him since the ruling, despite the Committee’s directive that Heartland FC must pay the compensation within 45 days.”

‎The Committee found that the club terminated the coach’s contract on June 11, 2025, without just cause and without following proper disciplinary procedure.

‎Uzor had signed a contract with Heartland FC on August 1, 2024, with a monthly salary of ₦700,000.

‎The NFF also warned that failure to comply with the ruling could lead to sanctions, including a transfer and registration ban on the club.
