‎Zimbabwe have officially confirmed their participation in the upcoming Unity Cup scheduled to take place in London this May.

‎The announcement was made by the Zimbabwe Football Association in a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, where the federation also revealed that their opening fixture will be against the Nigeria national football team.

‎The encounter is expected to rekindle competitive rivalry between the Zimbabwe national football team and Nigeria, with both sides aiming to make a strong start in the four-nation invitational tournament.

‎The Unity Cup will also feature India national football team and Jamaica national football team, completing the lineup for the competition.

‎Organisers are expected to release the full fixtures and match schedule in the coming days as preparations intensify for the tournament
