Ghanian forward Antoine Semenyo scored a 72nd minute winner as Manchester City edge Chelsea 1-0 to emerge FA cup champions on Saturday.
‎Chelsea held their own for the most part of the game with solid defending but Pep Guardiola’s men eventually found the net through Semenyo’s back-heel strike assisted by Haaland.
‎It is Manchester City’s second trophy of the season after beating Arsenal to the Carabao cup in March.
‎City are still in position for a third trophy for the season as they trail Arsenal by two points in the EPL  title race going into the last two games of the season.
‎Captain Bernardo Silva described the victory as special for him as he leaves the Club at the end of the season.
‎“It is just special to me in my last season to give them another trophy”
‎For Chelsea, the lost means their hope for European football is now slimmer as they are ninth-placed on the Premier League table.
