Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been commended by Nigerians, mostly football fans, after they appeared in coordinated traditional attire for their official 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) photoshoot.
The ten-time African champions shared photographs of the squad dressed in matching green-and-white traditional outfits inspired by Nigerian fabrics and styles on their official Instagram page.
The photoshoot not only provided official media images for the team but also projected Nigeria’s cultural identity to an international audience.
