The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly and Member representing Akoko-Edo I Constituency, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Yekini Idaiye, has assured that Akoko-Edo Local Government Area will deliver an overwhelming victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general election.
Rt. Hon. Idaiye, who gave the assurance at a well-attended APC rally held in Ibillo, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, also said the local government would give the party the highest votes in the state.
He told the mammoth crowd at the rally that Governor Monday Okpebholo had done well for the local government area in terms of infrastructure upgrade, security of lives and property, and the appointment of Akoko-Edo sons and daughters into key positions.
He said it was time for the people to reward the Governor with their votes, assuring that the APC in Akoko-Edo would deliver all candidates of the party from top to bottom.
He enjoined the people to rally round the Governor to actualize the 2.5 million-vote target for the party in the state.
