Today I wanted to write about the necessity of having an accountability partner who ensues you make the best of your creativity and of yourself but I stumbled on a video of a content creator who was asking people to subscribe to her channel. It turns out that many Creatives struggle with the acceptance of comprehending how fame and success actually works. I will quickly quote a line from Jesus Christ who once said “Whoever wants to lead should first become a servant”. To paraphrase, whoever wants to take, must first give. Whoever wants to succeed must first help others succeed. Whoever wants a lot of money must provide a useful product or service that people value and are willing to pay for. Whoever wants to reap, must sow. You don’t think of what you want, you think of what the audience wants. The irony of missed opportunities of life lies in the fact that they often come disguised as unpaid and tedious labor for long periods of time. But that is the cost of success or “wetin go make you blow”. You have to serve others consistently. The more people you serve, the more likely you are to get referrals, subscribers, and well paying clients.
Humans eventually realize when you have made sacrifices on their behalf and would naturally seek to repay your efforts. When opportunities come around, they’ll be quick to mention your name.

All of these things take time and patience but the iron law of the universe is cause and effect. Whatever you put in is eventually equal to your output. If you keep putting in effort, with time even the results will be remarkably astonishing.

So, let’s suppose you have a new product or service in a particular niche. Instead of trying to cajole people to buy from you, why not offer to teach some people the skills or useful tips of that trade? Also known as content creation. If you do this, a lot of prospective clients will get to know you, then like you and then trust you and eventually buy from you almost automatically.

Instead of worrying about how successful you are, why not look within for the value you can offer to people? When people get to know and interact with you, you will be sure to succeed.

Remember, people tend to be self absorbed in their own affairs, so the best way to get people’s attention is to talk about what interests them, what they want, and how they can get it.

So in case you are wondering, “Why I never still blow?”, perhaps you just need to be of more service to other people without actually being too conscious about what they can do for you in return.
