…restates Obaseki has a good story to tell
The Edo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Marvellous Godwins Omobayo, has reaffirmed that the PDP candidate in the upcoming September 21 governorship election, Asue lghodalo, remains the most sellable and credible person with capacity to consolidate on the achievements of the Obaseki-led administration.
The Deputy Governor restated this when he received members of Asue Youth Movement (AYM) led by Comrade Ernest Edobor, in his office.
According to Omobayo, “Asue lghodalo is the most sellable and popular candidate in the governorship race and possess the needed experience to make a positive difference in the developmental trajectory of Edo State’.
The number two citizen enjoined Edo youths to leverage their numerical strength and voting population to mobilise support for the PDP and Asue lghodalo.
Omobayo described Governor Obaseki as a sound technocrat and political engineer, whose robust experience in the private sector has engendered infrastructural development in the 18 Local Government Areas across the three senatorial districts of Edo State.
The Deputy Governor assured of his readiness to support and work with Asue Youth Movement and other groups, for the actualisation of Asue lghodalo governorship project.
He added: ‘Our candidate is hard-working and this administration has a good story to tell.”
Speaking earlier, Edo State Coordinator, Asue Youth Movement, Comrade Ernest Edobor, said members of AYM were in the Deputy Governor’s office to identify with him as a youth and intimate His Excellency with activities of the group.
Edobor pledged the commitment and support of AYM for the victory of PDP at the polls.
