The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Benin City Branch, Lion’s Bar, has honoured Festus Alenkhe, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Edo State Council, with its Award of Distinguished Service.

The award recognizes Alenkhe’s exceptional contributions to crime reporting and his impact on societal issues.

Nosa Edo-Osagie, Chairman of the NBA Benin Branch, presented the award, highlighting Alenkhe’s professionalism and the significant influence of his work.

Edo-Osagie noted that Alenkhe’s selection was based on a thorough evaluation of his contributions and stressed the importance of collaboration between lawyers and journalists to foster societal progress.
