Nigeria’s women’s senior team, the Super Falcons are set to face Algeria in a two-legged international friendly later this month, as confirmed by a source within the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Both matches will feature home-based players and are intended to prepare the two nations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will be held in Morocco next year. The first leg is scheduled for October 26, with the return fixture taking place three days later at venues that have yet to be announced.

This initiative aligns with the NFF’s goal of integrating quality players from the Nigeria Women’s Football League into the Super Falcons’ lineup for WAFCON.
