The 30th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES) will begin on October 14, 2024 at the nation’s capital, Abuja, where sessions have been packaged for an inspiring blend of conversations that will leave participants brimming with new ideas and perspectives.

The annual programme, organised by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), will have in attendance CEOs and investors from the local and international investing communities. The summit will be focusing on ways to enhance economic growth, competitiveness and stability.

“The summit will emphasize the importance of achieving Africa’s aspirations in a new global context through bold ideas and actions, supported by strong leadership at the industry, national, regional and global levels,” NESG said.

The summit will begin on Monday 14th October to Wednesday 16th October, 2024 with the theme being “Collaborative Action for Growth, competitiveness and stability”.

The chairman of the planning committee for the 30th NES#30 Omoboyede Olusanya has earlier explained that the summit is a pivotal platform for discussing regulatory reforms vital for essential economic use and competitiveness. The summit is to mobilise leaders towards creating good opportunities for both the present and the future.

The chairman outlined that the summit will include meetings with CEOs from the French speaking countries (Francophone) and deliberate on topics like local pharmaceutical manufacturing and energy sector dynamics, aiming to foster collaboration among stakeholders for good and sustainable development.
