Coach Douglas of Idia College has expressed confidence in his girls to win the Secondary School’s Football Competition ahead of Friday’s final against Saint Angela Grammar School.

In an interview with The Nigerian Observers correspondents, he expressed his happiness for the win though according to him, “I expected six”. He attributed his team’s “lapses” to the fact that they were playing for the first time and said the next time “they would come out with their full potential”.

He also expressed confidence in winning the competition for the third time in a row.

According to him, “We won it twice and this time around, we’re going to win it again”.

“We’re going to be very swift in the final. Five minutes of play we should score at least two goals,” he added.
