The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nov. 14 and 18 for Nigeria’s final qualifying matches for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

These games will see the Super Eagles face off against the Republic of Benin and Rwanda.

According to an NFF statement released on Tuesday, the Matchday 5 game against Benin Republic is set for Nov. 14 at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, with a kickoff at 8 p.m. Nigerian time.

Senegalese officials will oversee the match, with Issa Sy appointed as the referee, and joined by assistant referees Djibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura, and fourth official El Hadji Amadou Sy. Rene Williams Sere from Cote d’Ivoire will act as the commissioner, and Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola will serve as referee assessor.

The final qualifier on Matchday 6, against Rwanda, will take place at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Nov. 18, kicking off at 5 p.m. For this game, CAF has designated Moroccan officials, with Samir Guezzaz as the referee, assisted by Zakaria Brinsi and Abdessamad Abertoune, while Kech Chaf Mustapha will serve as the fourth official. Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana has been appointed as commissioner, and Somalian Ali Mohamed Ahmed as referee assessor.

This match will be the last of the Group D qualifiers, determining spots for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations, set to be held in Morocco from December 2025 to January 2026.
