Edo Queens departed the country on Thursday morning ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League. The players and officials have travelled to Casablanca from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
Moses Aduku’s side are drawn in Group B with current holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Egypt’s FC Masar and CBE FC of Ethiopia. The Nigerian champions will be making their debut appearance in the competition.
They will face CBE FC in their opening fixture in Casablanca on Sunday, November 10. The competition will run from November 9-28 I. the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca, Morocco.
