The Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon Paul Ohonbamu, has urged the people of Edo State to wholeheartedly support President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, stressing that the President’s commitment to providing critical resources has made the state’s current wave of development possible.
In a statement issued in Benin City, Ohonbamu explained that Governor Monday Okpebholo has been able to embark on large-scale construction projects across the state thanks to the backing of President Tinubu.
He emphasised that without the President’s support, the remarkable progress now visible in Edo would not have been achievable.
Quoting Governor Okpebholo during the recent meeting of South-South All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors and leaders, which was hosted by the Edo State Governor in Benin City, Ohonbamu highlighted the Governor’s assertion that “this is the first President that is providing what is required for the development of the nation.”
“With President Tinubu at the helm of affairs, Edo State will continue to witness tremendous transformation. In appreciation, Edo people have no choice but to rally behind and support the President,” Ohonbamu declared.
The Commissioner further stated that Governor Okpebholo’s achievements within a short time in office are visible for all to see, noting the significant strides already made in infrastructure and other key areas.
Ohonbamu appealed to Edo residents to remain patient and steadfast in their support for the Okpebholo administration, expressing confidence that many more projects and far-reaching developments will be executed across the state as part of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
