BENIN CITY — The Edo State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua, has reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to project and promote all government programmes in line with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s SHINE Agenda for a prosperous Edo State.
Prince Afegbua stated this during a courtesy visit by the management team of the Edo State Digital Governance and Data Management Agency (EdoDiDa) to his office in Benin City.He emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration for effective public communication and transparency, pledging the ministry’s full support for EdoDiDa’s initiatives.
Earlier, the Acting Managing Director of EdoDiDa, Mr. Patrick Ikpato, highlighted two key digital innovations — Edo Business Connect, a networking platform for MSMEs, and OneEdo, an integrated web portal linking all MDAs for seamless public service access.
The Functioning Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Rose Imonike, commended the visiting team and assured them of the ministry’s readiness to promote digital governance and citizen engagement.
