YENAGOA: A 30-year-old man, identified as Ebi, popularly known as Npotor, has been beheaded in Igbogene community, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, following a violent clash between rival cult groups.
The deceased, said to be a member of the Greenlanders and a native of Amassoma in Southern Ijaw LGA, was allegedly captured in Yenegue, an area believed to be controlled by the rival Bobos group.
His body was later found naked, with hands tied and the head missing.
Police spokesman Musa Mohammed confirmed the incident and said a manhunt had been launched to arrest those responsible.
