Officials have informed that top stars Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon and Jerome Akor are still being expected in the Super Eagles training camp in London.
The players were among the experienced stars listed for the Unity Cup.
They are also named on the squad for the friendlies against Poland and Portugal next month.
“They have not joined camp yet. I don’t know when they will,” a team official said.
On Saturday, a makeshift Super Eagles led by Terem Moffi will take on Jamaica in a repeat of the 2025 Unity Cup final.
The Super Eagles stopped Zimbabwe 2-0 in the first semifinal, while Jamaica beat India by the same scoreline in the other semifinal.
