The Spiritual leader/Chairman Church Council of Christ’s Chosen Church of God int’l (CCCOGI) Snr. Apst. (Dr.) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu has directed all Stations and branches of the Church across the globe to set up the Chosen Special Duty Marshals (CSDM) to protect the Church against any unpleasant circumstances.

Ikhuiwu gave the directive at the international headquarters of the Church along Benin-Agbor road, Ohovbe quarters Benin City during his investiture as the Patron and grand commander of the CSDM.

The spiritual leader thanked the body for honouring him with the investiture noting that it is a call to greater commitment and responsibility in advancing the work God has entrusted to him.

He said the CSDM is an arm of the Church and was established to serve as an instrument of discipline, orderliness, security and excellence across the length and breath of the Churches.

“I want to use this opportunity to encourage all Ministers of this great Church to please ensure that the CSDM unit is established in your stations and branches.

“It is now a collective duty and responsibility to see to the growth of the body. This is our own we must strive to see it flourish.

“This approach is intensional and due to the prevailing insecurity challenges we face at this time as a nation, there is a need for us to put proactive measures in place to forestall any unpleasant circumstances”.

The spiritual leader of the Church also used the opportunity of the 2026 international convention to commission the modern computer facilities of Christ’s Disciples Seminary.

In his address, the Rector Christ’s Disciples Seminary, Apostle Dr. Felix Ehigie thanked the spiritual leader for finding out time to commission the Department of computer studies which has been furnished with modern facilities and 25 desktop computers.

“This achievement is in view of improving the standard of the seminary not only in theological dimension but also competently fit in the technological advancement of the scientific world”.
