The Super Eagles flew to Guinea-Bissau on Sunday afternoon for their Matchday 2 fixture of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers against the Djurtus.
The team and officials departed Uyo aboard a chartered flight from the Victor Attah International Airport and landed at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport in Bissau.
They will hold their final training session on Monday evening at the Estadio 24 de Setembro ahead of the clash on Tuesday at 5pm Nigerian time.
Before leaving Uyo, Coach Eric Chelle and his squad had a closed-door training session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium to perfect their strategy.
Nigeria started the qualifying campaign with a comeback 2-1 victory over Madagascar in Uyo after going behind in the 16th minute to Ehsan Kari’s opener.
Debutants George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor scored to turn the game around, with Ilenikhena equalising in first-half stoppage time and Usor netting the winner in the 65th minute.
Guinea-Bissau currently top Group L after beating Tanzania 2-0 away, while Nigeria sit second, with Tanzania and Madagascar yet to pick up points.
Only the group winners will qualify for the 2027 AFCON to be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, making Tuesday’s showdown crucial.
