The Nigerian Army will begin a sensitisation exercise for prospective applicants for its 92nd Regular Recruits Intake (92RRI) in Edo State from Oct. 5 to 12, 2026.
The exercise will be held at the Festival Hall, Government House, Benin City, and all applicants between the ages of 18 and 26 are expected to be seated by 8 a.m. daily for the exercise.
Edo had so far recorded only 291 applicants, against the 300 to 400 recruits the state is entitled to produce under the intake.
Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo has therefore urged eligible youths in the state to come forward in large numbers and participate in the recruitment exercise to enable Edo to meet its quota.
The exercise is expected to provide prospective applicants with information on the recruitment process and requirements for the 92RRI.
