BENIN CITY- The National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons, in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and crime will today Thursday April 23,2015 organise a one-day community dialogue session with relevant stakeholders in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Edo State.
A statement by the commander, Benin Zonal office of NAPTIP, Ebiringa Cordilia indicated that the dialogue session will hold at the Local Government Secretariat, at Idogbo, beginning at 9am.
The statement added that the session is in true with the NAPTIP Act which mandates the agency to collaborate with other stakeholders in the fight against Human Trafficking and Child Labour in Nigeria for the purpose of ensuring the elimination and prevention of the root causes of the problem of Traffic in persons.
Tomorrow Friday April 24, 2015 the agency will also hold a one-day stakeholders meeting with government registered transport companies in Edo State.
