Fit-again Nigeria striker Obafemi Martins has been named in the Major League Soccer (MLS) Team of the Week after his superb display for Seattle Sounders in a 4-0 win over Orlando City on Sunday.
Martins missed 10 games in all competitions for Seattle Sounders and was sidelined for two months while the injury lasted, but came back stronger with a brace and an assist in the game on Sunday.
He was the only Sounders player on the MLS Team of the Week.
The former Wolfsburg striker also has one of his goals nominated for the Goal of the Week award.
