Benin city – An award of excellence has been conferred on the wife of Edo State Deputy Governor, Deaconess Endurance Odubu for her contributions towards the development of the state.
The Presentation was done at her residence in Benin City by Etsako West Women leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by the women leader Hajia Afishetu Shaibu.
After receiving the award from the group, Deaconess Odubu appreciated the APC women leaders from Etsako West for finding her worthy of the honour.
Dedicating the award to the entire Edo women, she asserted that the award would encourage her to continue to contribute towards the common good of the people.
The deputy governor’s wife also stated that Governor Adams Oshiomhole has liberated Edo State from under-development.
The leader of the women group Hajia Afishetu Shaibu said the award was intended to appreciate Deaconess Odubu for her contributions towards the promotion of the party.
She disclosed that the duo of Comrade Oshiomhole and Dr. Odubu have transformed Edo State compared to the non-performance that characterised previous administrations.
