BENIN CITY – It was a sad moment for one Mrs. Esther Aidebaman Abdulahi, an ex-wife of a police officer, Okojie Samuel, as his son, Kelvin Okojie was reported to have disappeared to an unknown location over several threats to his life.
Okojie Samuel who was said to have been serving at the Okhoro police station in Benin city and was living with his wife then, was reportedly arrested by the Okhoro station over matter yet to be ascertained while his son, Kelvin Okojie was still an infant.
According to sources, after Okojie’s arrest, he was never heard of, neither was he seen, a situation that created pandemonium and apprehension in the state.
It was gathered that after Kelvin grew up, he started making efforts towards unraveling the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of his father, even as he constantly enquired from his mother, Mrs. Esther the whereabouts of his father.
His mother it was gathered had always told her son, Kelvin that his father was a police officer who was arrested and locked up in the cell, from where he was reported to have disappeared and never heard of.
In his quest towards searching for his father after years of disappearance, Kelvin it was later gathered allegedly had issues with unidentified persons who had been after his life.
On several occasions, Kelvin reportedly sustained degrees of injuries from attacks until recently when he suddenly disappeared to an unknown destination for safety, apparently for fear of being killed by an unknowm persons.
As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Kelvin was still unknown.
