AKURE : A member of one of the royal familes in Owo, Ondo state, Prince Imole Ajishebioyo and his friend,Wale Olotu have been declared wanted for their complicity in the death of one Prince Femi Osuporu on February 25, 2015.
Both men were alleged to have hit the deceased on the head with an empty bottle which led to his death during an altercation on the fateful day.
The suspects were alleged to have fled the scene, leaving the deceased in a pool of blood.
The NIGERIAN OBSERVER learnt that a minor disagreement between Prince Imole Ayodele and the deceased ,who are both cousins, later degenerated into a fight.
Irked by the deceased’s aggressive demeanour, the second suspect, Wale Olotu was alleged to have picked up an empty beer bottle from a nearby bar, and used same to hit the late Prince Osuporu on the head.
“The deceased consequently fell down bleeding profusely and unable to move. He was later pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital “, a source in the community told our reporter.
Some angry youths in Owo went on rampage and set the home of the second suspect ablaze while Prince Ayodele’s mother was arrested by the police.
High Chief Elder Titus Odenusi Ajishebioyo, father of Imole Ayodele, traumatised by the death and violence that followed the incident, reportedly suffered a heart attack. He died in the hospital a few days later.
Reports from the area says the fate of both suspects is still hanging precariously in the balance as the family of the deceased and his aggrieved friends want a retribution on both men
Meanwhile, the police in Akure, the Ondo state capital have declared both men wanted over the incident..
