KANO – It was a horrible sight to behold as feared-looking mob on leash terror on two middle-aged men, Eghianruwa Endurance, 20,and Sunday Prince, 23 over their alleged involvement in homosexuality leading to the death of one of them, Sunday Prince whom The NIGERIAN OBSERVER gathered died later of complications from the illtreatmen.
It was learned that Eghianruwa Endurance and his same sex partner, Sunday Prince were on June 15, 2013 caught red-handed pant down making sexual intercourse in an uncompleted building in Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano by some youths in the area who descended on them heavily leading to Endurance passing out in the process before they (youths) alerted the police.
They were reportedly given the worst illtreatmen of their lives, as they were beaten to coma.
In what seemed to be fanfare later turn out to be a nightmare for the alleged Same-Sex lovers when, especially at a period political election gathered momentum, elicited suspicious from other youths of the community who laid ambush for them.
Judging by the nature of the traditional norm in the land and the Nigeria law which prescribed 14 years jail term for anybody found guilty of such homosexuality viewed as sarilegeous, the mob it was gathered, that having busted them caught Endurance and Prince red-handed in the act gave them the worst illtreatment of their lives before Endurance narrowly escaped being killed by the angry mob, while Prince according to sources could not survive the beaten as he later gave up the ghost.
Confirming the incident, the police at the scene said that the police command would deploy its dragnet across the state and beyond towards apprehending Eghianruwa Endurance who has been declared wanted over homosexuality.
Declaring him wanted, the police charged anybody with useful information that will lead to his arrest to report at the nearest police station as handsome reward awaits him or her.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of Eghianruwa Endurance was still unknown.
