The Super Eagles head coach, Austin Eguavoen, has made a last-minute change to his team ahead of their clash against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The change involved resting the first-choice goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali for Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye in one of the two games.

It would be the first time the 25-year-old would be in goal for the team since the defeat in 2022 in Tunisia which brought blames and death threats to him from the fans thereby taking a break from the team.
