BENIN CITY — The families of Osamudiamen of Ohorgua village, near Benin city have expressed fears over the disappearance of Their son, one Oviasogie Osamudiamen, who was last seen July 15th, 2016.
According to a family source, Oviasogie Osamudiamen grew up with his uncle, Lucky, a panel beater who he complained was a member of a cult group known as Eiye confraternity.
The source, who pleaded anonymity for fear of being attacked, maintained that, members of the same cult group with his uncle, Lucky had threatened to kill Oviasogie Osamudiamen if he refused to join them.
Trouble started when Oviasogie Osamudiamen visited his friend Odion on the 6th of June, 2016, he was in the kitchen when he heard a knock at the door, his friend Odion went to open the door for them only for him to be shot by a rival cult group of three men, killing him on the spot, he managed to escape through the back door and was instructed by his uncle to go to his grand mother’s house and only to discover that his uncle was part of them who has always longed to initiate him to his own cult group Eiye.
“Thank God the Police has been informed, because it must be because of them Oviasogie Osamudiamen went into hiding” the source explained to our crime reporter.
She added that some arrest have been made and they are helping the police in the investigation.The whereabouts of Oviasogie Osamudiamen is unknown as at the time of filing this report.
