BENIN CITY – The Ag general manager of Bendel newspapers company limited publisher of the Nigerian observer newspaper has assured members of Edo artists association of Nigeria, EAAN of continuous partnership between the organisation and the association.

Barr Solomon Imohonsen made the assurance when members of the association paid a courtesy visit to the BNCL office, Airport road in Benin city the state capital.

He said with the current partnership, EAAN activities will be fully covered on the entertainment pages of the Nigerian observer newspapers.

According to him, “Nigerian observer newspapers with over fifty years on the news stand is capable of showcasing your activities globally. This we will do with the support from my esteem staff who are hard working, we are doing our best”

“Entertainment makes the newspaper a full complete one especially weekend editions, show bizz is a big industry in Nigeria and more is here in Edo state. Infact i will ask my editor to assign a reporter to you, been entertainers”

Earlier, the association led by its president, Mr Sylvester Uwadiae told BNCL management team that they were at the office to familiarize they new executive with them and sued for more collaboration between them and BNCL.

“Sir BNCL is body housing filmmakers, producers and directors, we need stories of Edo artists to be told through your newspapers not stories from Lagos artists. We need publicity” Uwadiae said.
