BENIN CITY – The Chairman pf Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission, (EDSOGPADEC), Pastor Kennedy Osifo, has praised Governor Godwin Obaseki for his quality leadership geared towards the development of the state through good governance to the people.
He made his point known while assessing the administration of the governor for the past three years, saying that Edo State is working a new look in terms of transformation.
He described Governor Obaseki as a patriotic leader whose kind disposition has impacted positively on the lives of the people, stressing that the governor has formulated policies end programmes to ameliorate the plight of the people especially in view of his designs for the provision of accessible road infrastructure, industrialisation of of the state, health facilities down to rural areas, housing unit amongst others.
Osifo, however, solicited the support of the Edo people for Governor Obaseki to enable him return to power come 2020 for the purposes of consolidating the achievements so far recorded in the state, pointing out that his coming on board as a governor of Edo State, has remodelled the political and democratic structures of the state thereby promoting unity and progress among the people, which made him to have such an accolade like the “wake and see Governor” due to his proactively approach to issues that bothers on good governance.
He also commended the leadership prowess of the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Osarodion Ogie, in uniting politicians in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area in particular, and the entire State in general, describing him as an epitome of quality leadership.
