Warri – Tragedy struck at the weekend in Mofor, Udu council area of Delta State as a teenage boy identified as Oghenemaro Eriana was stabbed to death by a bouncer at a wedding reception.
Nigerian Observer gathered that, the victim who went with his mother to the event ,was trying to pick up money sprayed on the couple during the ceremony, when the bouncer, identified as Francis Utuedor, shoved him and stabbed him in the process.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at the popular Wetland Hotel in the area.
Before his untimely death, the victim lived with his mother along Kolokolo Street in Udu Road as neighbours to the groom.
It was learnt that, the mother of the teenage boy has been mourning the loss of her older son which happened two months ago.
The Delta State Police Command through its spokesman , DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the development, noting that the suspect has been arrested.
“Yes, it happened at Wetland Hotel. The suspect is in our custody.” He said.
