Benin City:- New evidence has emerged linking the three persons arrested inconnection with the murder of the Eson of Benin Kingdom, Chief Sunday Ahanor with the disappearance of Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue of Evbouzama Community who was declared missing years back.

The Eson of Benin Kingdom Chief Ahanor and his Police orderly were murdered in cold blood by hired assassins on the 15th of November 2005, at about 3:30pm along Eweka street, off Murtala Mohammed way. Chief Sunday Ahanor until his assassination, was the Chairman of Aduwawa Community Development Association. (CDA).

Three persons were later apprehended over the brutal murder and in the same vein, Cheif Felix Nosa Osadolor (a.k.a Afro) the declared wanted, based on a petition written to the AIG by Chief Ahanor bordering on threat to life arising from land dispute.

A month after, precisely on the 23rd of December, Chief Felix Osadolor surrendered himself to the Police for questioning. The other three earlier apprehended however made confessional statements which was not made public as at that time.

Exactly two years later, the three suspects confessed that they were hired by somebody, whom they refused to mention to carry out the killing. While admitting carrying out the killing of Chief Ahanor, they also confessed kidnapping and burying Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue, of Evbouzama Community alive.
They later took the Police to the place where they buried Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue of Evbouzama Community alive and his remains recovered and evacuated for autopsy with the bead on his hand being the only thing to be recognized.

They also confessed being on the trail of Victor Osayuki Ehue, Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue son, who has been searching and investigating the disappearance of his father. Even though Osayuki has been missing for some time now, questions as to his whereabout was not answered.

However, three other persons, who were charged alongside them were left off the hook on the grounds that there was no strong and credible evidence linking them with the offence.

Meanwhile, the family of Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue and the entire Evbouzama Community has been thrown into another round of mourning, following the new evidence that surfaced about the dead of Enogie Usiobaifo Omusi Ehue and the manner he was killed. They also lamented abAbout Cout the disappearance of their son, Victor Osayuki Ehue and urged the Police to find their son as he received several death threats from unknown persons before his disappearance.
