Lafia – A young lady whose identity could not be ascertained as at the time of filing this story on Wednesday, has been reported killed in a mob action.
Witnesses who pleaded anonymity narrated that she was caught having sex with her female partner identified as Ifeyinwa Valentine Ibe.
Ibe was hitherto regarded as a reserved and responsible lady in the neighborhood of Jos Street, Lafia, Nasarawa State where the incident occurred.
An unsuspecting neighbor had paid Ibe an unscheduled visit at about 7:00pm only to discover the ladies in the act as she pushed open the apartment door that was simply shut but not locked.
The neighbor whose identity was not released, called the attention of other neighbors and immediately the situation turned rowdy.
In the rage of the crowd gathered somehow, Ibe who was a resident and known to everyone in the area escaped and have not been seen since the incident happened two days ago.
But her partner; a strange face in the neighborhood was not as lucky. She was in her naked state beaten to pulp before police arrived the scene. Unfortunately, she was unable to make it to the hospital.
Effort to get reaction of the police authority in charge of the area while filing this report was not successful.
Homosexual act is alien to this part of the world and highly forbidden.
