An automobile mechanic in Benin city,one Mr Igbineweka Douglas has been declared wanted following auto accident that has left one pregnant woman ( name withheld) dead in oredo community, the Edo state capital.
Igbineweka Douglas who had earlier escaped being lynched by angry mob following the accident which occurred on August 1,2011 was said to have eloped to an unknown destination.
Investigation by our crime reporter said Igbineweka Douglas,an auto mechanic having completed repairs of the car,drove it out from the workshop for road test where he alleged to have killed one pregnant woman from an undisclosed influential family in Benin city.
Contacted the Edo police authorities confirmed the accident and said that Igbineweka Douglas is declared wanted in connection with the accident and must face presecution so that justice would be served.
“To this extent, Igbineweka Douglas has no choice than to produce himself to face the law” police authority added
