BENIN CITY – The Police in Edo are presently in the trail of one Evbouomwan Benson over secret cult related matters.
Evbouomwan, a Benin by tribe, according to a Police press bulletin was last seen around the Oba Ovonramen Square in Benin City, barely a week ago.
He was said to have attacked his relation, Romanus Evbouomwan with dangerous weapons and caused him bodily injuries during a family meeting in Benin City.
He was said to have escaped immidiately after the attack and has since not be seen.
The family meeting, it was gathered was at the instance of the family hierarchy to finalise arrangement for the initiation of Benson into the Ogboni confraternity as successor to his father’s position.
It was reliably gathered that Benson was not favourably disposed to joining the Ogboni confraternity, because it conflicts with his religious belief.
