Ubiaja – The All Progressive Congress (CAN) in Edo State has taken its message of change to the people of Esan South East, Esan North East and East Central Local Government Area in Edo State.
The State Deputy Governor (Dr.) Puis Egberanmwan Odubu who led the campaign team on behalf of Governor Oshiomhole to the various places said Nigerians need a man of APC presidential flag bearer, General Muhammadu Buhari’s pedigree to fix the country.
Dr. Puis Odubu told the large member of APC supporters that if General Buhari is elected as Nigeria’s president the country and indeed Nigerians would be the better for it.
He said the track record of the presidential hopeful as Head of state and in other public offices speaks volumes for his capability to wage an effective war against corruption, kidnapping, insurgency and as well turn around the country’s economic fortune.
The deputy governor berated the PDP’s 16 years in power at the centre, which, according to him have no record achievement, and therefore urged the people of Esan North East as well as Esan South East and Esan Central; to vote broom symbol on February 14 and 28, general elections.
Presenting the senatorial House of Representatives and the House of Assembly standard bearers to the people, the deputy governor vouched for their ability to deliver just as the advised the electorates not to sell their voter cards.
At Esan North East local Government Area, John Ighelegbae and Chief Ikhanobar defected to the APC while Olokun Anthony, Daniel Agbonifo, Victor Omoria as well as Mrs. Tessy Oghagbon all members of the PDP with their teeming supporters pledged to shift their support to the APC.
State chairman of the APC, Barr Anselm Ojezua, said the party is poised to leave legacies for posterity.
Barr. Ojezua told the people that all the APC candidates would live up to expectations.
