LAGOS – The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday condoled with the government and people of Bayelsa over the death of the 11 women of the state who died in a road accident on Saturday.
It also condoled with the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, over the loss of the women.
In a statement issued in Lagos by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed Alhaji Lai Mohamme, the party expressed shock and sadness at the untimely death of the women, who were mothers, wives, sisters and daughters.
The party prayed that God would grant the deceased eternal rest and also give their bereaved families the strength to bear their losses.
‘’May God also provide the bereaved families with the succour and comfort they so much need in their moment of darkness,’’ APC said.
The women had on Saturday night died in a ghastly auto crash which occurred at the Ahoada axis of the East-West road in Rivers.
