FUGAR – The leadership of All Progressive Congress (APC), Etsako Central Local Government Area, Edo State has met in Fugar , the local government headquarters to strategies and fashion out winning ways aimed at delivering all the party’s  candidates in the forth coming general elections.
In his opening remarks, convener of the meeting and chairman of the state’s Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB), Prince Stephen Alao, said he had to call on the leaders across the 10 wards in the local government area, so as to save what he called a “precarious situation.
He pleaded with party members to put behind them past differences and work to deliver all the APC candidates, adding that the party and the Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole should be the focus of everyone.
In their different contributions, the leaders identified money as the major problem that is likely to militate against the total routing of the opposition parties across the wards at the forth coming polls.
At the meeting, it was also agreed that members use their individual influence to reach out to friends, relations and associates to contribute towards the campaign funds for candidates in the area.
Heads of directorate were put in place to coordinate different areas for a successful outing. Chairman of the local government, Comrade Emmanuel Momoh was appointed Director, Contact and Mobilization Committee, Ebomhiana Musa, Director Media and Publicity; Chief (Mrs.) Gladys Momoh, Director Women Mobilization, Daniel Ikoh, Director Youth Mobilization and Tony Eramhe, Director of Logistics.
The convener of the meeting, Prince Alao was appointed the Director General of the campaign structure while the immediate past party chairman in the local government area, Pastor Paul Osugbo is the secretary.
