BENIN CITY- Barely two days to the 2015 presidential election, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has urged Nigerians both at home and in diaspora to commit Nigeria to God. He made this known at a one-day prayer and fasting. In a release, he implored everyone to appreciate God for His blessings and protection despite the machination of the evil ones to distort the prevailing peace and cause mayhem in the society.
He stated that “we should also ask for God’s mercy over our conscious acts of violence,  indiscipline and corruption in all its ramification.”
In addition, he urged Nigerians to know that our Lord is the Prince of peace who can bestow peace upon Nigeria “if one seek Him.”
He, therefore, implored Nigerians, particularly, the contenders and electorate to seek God for the peace to reign over the Nation.
Pastor Adeboye, quoting Psalms 50:15 urged everybody not to relent until peace is finally enthroned in this country.
God, he said never fails when He is invited into any situation.
