SOKOTO – Governor  Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto state has advised the All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters  to vote in accordance with their conscience and defend  their votes during the forthcoming general elections.
Wamakko told newsmen in Sokoto that it was only by doing so that credible leaders would be elected into office.
“Do not sell your permanent voters card as it is your personal property to be used in electing credible people” he said.
Wamakko, who is also contesting for Sokoto Central Senatorial seat, promised to represent the people well at the National Assembly.
He said that lack of political maturity  and  poor working relationship between the two arms of government was largely responsible for the poor implementation of the budget.
He said that if the two arms would adhere to their constitutional responsibilities, meaningful development would have being recorded.
He urged the people to shun all forms of violence and come out en-mass to vote for  APC candidates at the polls to ensure good governance at all levels
