THE life of one Smith Ibukuola is currently in danger as his own father, Mr Smith Yussuph wants him death
Information made available to The NIGERIAN OBSERVER reveals that Mr Smith Yussuph, who is a well known Muslim cleric, wants his sixteen years old son, Ibukuola to convert from Christianity to Islam.
It was gathered that as a well known Muslim cleric in Lafenwa quarters,in Abeokuta,Ogun State and it environs, it was an insult on his person for his own child to profess the christian faith. After series of pleading that later turned to threats and harassment,Ibukuola still held is ground.That was when his father vow to kill him if he refused to accept the Islamic faith.
It was further gathered that to save the life of his son,Ibukuola’s mother,Mrs Bamedale Smith had to escape from Ogun State to Igueben in Edo State with his son. He vowed that anybody that begs on his son’s will be killed.
While they were at Igueben,the threats to his life intensified. The mother,who knows what her husband is capable of doing, has he has also vowed to kill her, relocate Smith Ibukuola to safety.
