EHOR -The life of a young man, Imafu Kelvin is now in danger following is conversion from Muslim to Christianity.
It was reliably gathered that Kelvin, who is hails from Idogbo, Ikpoba Okha local government area, Edo State, and from a Muslim family converted to Christianity and this put him at loggerhead with his father, Mr Imafu Alfred, who told him that he has to go back to the Muslim faith or he will face persecution and possibly death. Kelvin’s refusal made matters worst as the father beat him up on numerous occasions. He was injured in some of the beatings.
The matter was worsen as Kelvin’s mother did not support him. She joins her husband to pursue him out of the house.
It was gathered that, a Christian friend harboured Kelvin at Urokosa Town in Uhunmwonde local government area, Edo State. He was staying their happily and he got a job. He came back home from work one day, when his friend Emma told him that some unknown persons trailed him to the house to ask of him. The unknown persons warned Emma to stop helping and harbouring Kelvin or they will kill him. They even accused him of converting Kelvin to Christianity.
When he heard that his father had sent people after him, and that his life was no longer safe, he had to flee for his life.
The whereabouts of Imafu Kelvin is unknown as at the time of writing this report
