BENIN CITY – The Edaiken N’ Uselu and Heir Apparent to the throne of Benin Kingdom, His Royal Highness (Amb.) Eheneden Erediauwa, yesterday, received members of Holy Aruosa Cathedral, Benin City, who, were in his palace to felicitate with him on his installation as the Edaiken N’ Uselu.
They were led on the visit by the spiritual Head and Head of Administration, His Holiness, Harrison Okao, the Ohen-Osa of the Church.
The church members had a prayer session with the Edaiken and prayed for God and the ancestor’s intervention upon the lives of the Edaiken N’ Uselu, his families and the entire royal families to enable him transform the Benin Kingdom to greater height in terms of good governance.
The NIGERIAN OBSERVER, gathered that the church members also prayed for the well being of the people of Benin Kingdom, and the entire country, especially as period of election in the state draws nearer, so that God almighty and the ancestors should take control, for the purposes of peace, love and harmony, during, before and after the election.
After the prayer session, the church members paid homage to appreciate and celebrate with the Edaiken N’ Uselu and the entire royal families.
On his part, the Edaiken N’ Uselu thanked the church members for identifying with him and the royal family during this celebration of the historical event, while urging them to continue to pray fervently for sanity in the kingdom.
