BENIN CITY – Lift Above Poverty Organisation, (LAPO) at the weekend honoured one hundred and fifteen (115) dedicated and  committed staff as a way of boosting workers’ morale and reward excellence within the LAPO system.
Of the number, a total of 105 staff members received their 10 to 20 years long service awards; 8 staff received the Best Credit Staff Award and two (2) others as Best Non-Credit Staff.
Speaking at the Award Ceremony, chaired by the Esogban of Benin Kingdom, Chief D.U. Edebiri, LAPO’s Founder and Managing Director/CEO, LAPO Microfinance Bank (LMB) Limited, Dr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe commended and congratulated the awardees just as he tasked those who were yet to receive the awards to work harder.
“To the long service award recipients, you have not only given your best, but also demonstrated unequalled loyalty … I sincerely appreciate our overall Best staff across the LAPO Group for their landmark achievements. You exemplify our CORE values of commitment, diligence and integrity.” Ehigiamusoe said.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of citation and awards on the recipients who in their separate interviews thanked LAPO for the honour and promised to put in more commitment.
