BENIN CITY- A 10 member committee has been inaugurated to ensure a well packaged programme for the one year anniversary of the present government in Edo State.
Inaugurating the committee in Benin City, the State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Hon. Paul Ohonbamu listed the committee’s terms of reference to include: collect and collate materials required for the purpose; define narratives based on materials so collected, define the period, duration and time for the said anniversary programme and determine any other factor or factors that may be necessary for the implementation of the project.
The committee has the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Samuel Aigbirio as Chairman while the General Managers of Bendel Newspapers Company Limited and Edo Broadcasting Service, Rev. Monday Aigbe and Barr. Friday Okoedion, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, Special Adviser, Media and Strategy, Government House; Director of Orientation of the Ministry, Mrs. Eki Umuerri; Director of Communication, Ms Catherine Uwagboe will serve as members.
Others are Mrs. Omosede Wilson Imogan; Mr. Ernest Iyamu, Barr. Emmanuel Ozono, while Mr. Justin Uwadia of Edo Broadcasting Service is to serve as secretary.
Rt. Hon. Ohonbamu called on Public Relations Officers in various ministries to furnish the committee with up to date reports of activities in their respective ministries.
