BENIN CITY – It has been asserted that any child that bring honour to his or her parents deserve a resounding accolade.

That was what played out in the Oba Palace when Prince Igbinidu Ewuare the third son of His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II formally presented his certificates of academic achievements to his royal father.

The Omo N’Oba said Prince Igbinidu having made such remarkable and enviable achievements in primary education which started in the Kingdom of Sweden and secondary and tertiary education in the United Kingdom, deserves to be celebrated for being a worthy and veritable conduit of honour and pride.

Prince Igbinidu Ewuare had obtained a Bachelor’s degree, two Masters degrees and a specialized certificate in Business Entrepreneurship and Management from various leading University in the United Kingdom, including the famous University of Reading.

The eldest child of Oba Ewuare II Princess Barr. (Mrs.) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare Aimiuwu took time to introduce the various degrees and certificates, while Prince Igbinidu Ewuare personally presented them to his father amidst cheers and excitement.

During the presentation, Princess Barr. (Mrs.) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare Aimiuwu thanked His Royal Majesty for giving them the opportunity to study abroad to obtain quality education. She said that their father must be commended for being their anchor and source of achievement and that they are still enjoying the support of their highly revered father, His Royal Majesty Oba Ewuare II.

She also appreciated the Omo N’Oba for the advice, and encouragement as well as for the financial, spiritual and psychological supports throughout their course of study.

His Royal Majesty apparently elated and impressed by the academic achievements of Prince Igbinidu Ewuare promised to organize a reception in his honour and prayed to God and the great Royal Ancestors for the success of Prince Igbinidu in his life endeavor.

The certificate presentation was witnessed by array of Palace Chiefs, Onojie of Uromi and his entourage as well as a business magnate, Captain Hosa Okunbo.
